The top two anglers on the day were both junior members who fished on the pole with worm and caster for a mixed bag of Carp/Bream/Tench and Roach.
The biggest fish of the day was a 4lb. 8oz. bream caught by another junior member, Luke Wrzosek

Top angler on the day drew the favoured top end of the lake. Steve Wood from Barnsley took the honors with a feeder caught bag of Bream and Skimmer Bream from Peg 37. Red maggot hook bait proved best on the day. Runner-up was another Barnsley angler, Rob Cunliffe at the next peg, again taking a bag of Bream and Skimmer Bream on the feeder. Top Wakefield rod was Ray Reah, who again caught on the groundbait feeder, red maggot combination, from unfancied peg 21. Twenty-two anglers fished the match with the majority finishing with nets of Skimmer Bream around the 1lb. mark.

Winner was Dave Micklethwaite (Barnsley) who caught a net of small Skimmer Bream on the groundbait feeder, red maggot hookbait combination, catching steadily for the full five hours. A long throw on the feeder from peg 19 by the boathouse produced a better stamp of Skimmer Bream and Bream for Ray Reah (Wakefield), enough for runner-up spot. Geoff Askey (Barnsley) filled the frame again on the groudbait feeder. More than half the field registered a double figure weight.

Winner was Mark Jackson (Rotherham) who caught a mixed net of small Skimmer Bream and Perch on the groundbait feeder with caster & worm. Making the best of the end peg draw, Darren Prestland (Wakefield) managed to tempt some of the elusive larger stamp of Bream, getting off to a flying start, but unfortunately the fish moved away and bites were hard to find in the second half of the match.
Once again, the majority of the field managed a double figure weight.

Winner on the day was Ray Reah (Wakefield) who caught a net of Bream and big Skimmer Bream on the groudbait feeder packed with caster & chopped worm, red maggot hookbait proving best on the day. Just six ounces, runner-up Steve Wood (Barnsley) started very slowly on the feeder struggling to avoid the explosion of small Perch taking a liking to his maggot hookbaits. A switch to his favoured long pole tactics proved decisive, as Steve caught steadily for the next three hours, taking a mixed net of Perch, Roach and Skimmer Bream. This match proved to be the most competitive of the series with a 14lb. per man average weight recorded, with both feeder and long pole tactics scoring well, with the fish spread out evenly along the length.
