The Club owns the Dam which was a former Mill Dam and there is a Clubhouse, Ladies, Gents and Disabled toilet block on site, together with secure parking for about 12 vehicles. The club had an £8,000 grant from the Environment Agency in 2006 towards the cost of the 2 metre wide access path that now runs around the Dam making it ideal for Anglers with Disabilities. The Clubhouse is used for Junior coaching activities (see Junior Section for details), meetings and social functions.
The Dam has 25 pegs and is well stocked with Bream, Roach, Perch and Carp. Most fish are caught on the pole or waggler using maggot, worm, caster or pellet in about 1.5 metres of water. The use of only one rod or pole is permitted at any one time. Floating baits are banned. Fishing is from 7.30am until the street lights come on. NO NIGHT FISHING. A key is needed for entry.
